Update v1.1.6: Expanded display of user information, optimizations to lists

I just submitted v1.1.6 of Lemma for the BlackBerry PlayBook to BlackBerry App World, ending what is likely the longest pause in between updates to the app. It’s a small update, implementing a couple of quick improvements:

  • Expanded user information (name, location, website, Twitter metadata) is displayed at the top of the timeline when viewing an individual Twitter account.
  • Show a loading message when the user selects a list on the Lists view.
  • Speed up the time to the first list load by retrieving the user’s lists at the launch of the app.

With a couple of weeks of Tablet OS 2.0 under our belts and Research In Motion’s BlackBerry PlayBook Tablet Offer seemingly paying off in spades (at least in quantity; quality is another thing altogether), use of the PlayBook has never been higher. Now if only I could get my PlayBook to play nice with my workplace’s WPA2-EAP encryption…
